What an incredible day it was for Nicole and Trent’s wedding at the Calile Hotel. I adored every moment of being their Celebrant and love how they braved locations photos out in the rain being rewarded with such breathtaking photos.
Not only did I get to be this lovely couples Celebrant, they also booked our gold hexagonal arbour via our ceremony styling business With Love – Brisbane Wedding Decorators.
This arbour always looks amazing at The Calile Hotel complimenting the brass fittings in neutral tones.
The couple were recently interviewed and featured on Polka Dot Wedding and what a huge compliment that they picked me as their standout supplier for their wedding.
“We had so many incredible vendors, but we would have to say our standout was Cara at Brisbane City Celebrants & Brisbane Wedding Decorators.
Cara was truly incredible throughout the whole process; from the first meeting, we knew she would be the perfect fit for our day.
She made our ceremony so stress-free and made everything so easy for us.
She arrived early with the wet weather to ensure everything was set up perfectly. Having her there with us for our ceremony was so incredibly special.”
I loved being the Celebrant for these two, sharing their fairy tale love story as they entered their next chapter as husband and wife.
This love story started as an innocent holiday romance in Bali, but the undeniable connection they shared led to an utterly romantic departure with Trent running down the concourse to surprise farewell Nicole before she boarded her flight.
The couple included their sweet little sausage dogs, Spencer and Harvey as ring bearers which was so much fun!
After their super special ceremony, the couple headed off with their wedding party for photos in and around the hotel.
Nicole and Trent’s wedding happened to taking place as the rain bomb poured down and Brisbane flooded. However having both their wedding and wedding photos at the hotel, the pouring rain didn’t affect them enjoying their wedding in the slightest.
In fact, the newlyweds along with their Photographer actually braved the extremely heavy rain (the same rain that resulted in Brisbane flooding) and got their favourite photos of their wedding, of them kissing in the pouring rain.

HOT TIP for a rainy wedding day: If you are wondering what you will do if it rains on your wedding day, why not embrace it and have an outfit change and have your reception outfits ready to change in to after your ceremony and photos. Your guests will love the surprise of you making your entrance in your evening/ party attire and you’ll enjoy feeling comfortable (and dry) as you party the night away.

I absolutely loved being a part of this amazing day both as their Celebrant and also providing our gold hexagonal wedding arbour.
