As a Brisbane Celebrant, I’m fortunate to share countless love stories, each with its own unique charm. This New Farm Park Rotunda wedding with the couple’s dogs was a wonderful celebration of love and loyalty.
Krista and Ricky’s recent elegant wedding ceremony, was brimming with personal touches and their two very special fur babies, perfectly fitting for the couple’s love for each other.
Unique elements of this special day included:
- Unplugged ceremony – with a twist: The couple opted for an unplugged ceremony, however for a little fun they permitted all their guests to take a quick photo when the bride first arrived. Then phones went away so guests could relax and focus on enjoying all the happy feels of the ceremony.
- The VIP’s (Very Important Pooches!): The couple decided to have their 2 beloved dogs present for the ceremony. Their 2 dogs made their own entrance down the aisle, with Rexie wearing a little tux and Sundae looking adorned with a fresh flower lei.
- Celebratory vibes & cocktail hour: With a focus on their day being a celebration and one they wanted their guests to enjoy every moment of, the couple included cocktail hour furniture and a drinks bar so after the ceremony, guests could get straight into the celebrations.
The team at With Love – Brisbane Wedding Decorators transformed the Rotunda into a vision of understated elegance.
White Americana chairs placed in neat rows alongside the white aisle. Here are some of our own photos showcasing the setup and styling of the rotunda.
A beautiful Hampton-style signing table was chosen for the signing of certificates to take place. And the bar tables and stools were placed outside for the post ceremony drinks and celebrations.
New Farm Park holds a special place in Krista and Ricky’s hearts. They frequent the park with their beloved dogs, making it a natural and sentimental choice for their wedding ceremony.
Krista and Ricky’s wedding was a happy celebration of love, friendship, and family. The unplugged ceremony allowed guests to be fully present, soaking up the couple’s genuine emotions.
A heartwarming moment of Krista and Ricky’s ceremony was having their two furry companions excitedly make their grand entrance down the aisle. Their presence perfectly reflected the couple’s love for them.
Their ceremony included me sharing some of the many reasons they love each other, followed by their truly beautiful heartfelt personalised vows, which being so special to them, they intend to not just keep but frame.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a celebratory cocktail hour under the Brisbane sunshine, with “With Love” providing stylish bar tables and stools outside the rotunda.
The post-ceremony cocktail hour provided a lively atmosphere for guests to mingle and share well wishes with the newlyweds.
What truly made the day unforgettable was the sheer happiness radiating from Krista and Ricky. Their love for each other and their playful pups was infectious, and clearly touched everyone who attended. Congratulations to Krista and Ricky!
I’m so happy to receive this glowing 5 STAR review from the happy newlyweds:
