Recently opened venue The Refinery is a chic modern venue, centrally located in Newstead offering a space for a contemporary ceremonies and receptions at one convenient location.
I had the honour of being chosen as Jack and Fiona’s Celebrant for their wedding at the Refinery and am thrilled to have received the following feedback and 5 STAR REVIEW from these happy newlyweds:

Jack and Fiona met while Jack was travelling in Australia with his best friend, who would later become his best man Alex.
At the time they met Jack had less than a year left on his Australian visa.
Despite the less than practical circumstances and the obstacle of 15,000km separating them, the connection they felt was so strong that they knew they had to be together.
Fiona took the plunge and moved to England and after an incredible few years, Fiona and Jack moved back to Australia where Jack proposed.
We are so happy they choose to celebrate their marriage in Brisbane, and the Refinery was a perfect choice with the ceremony and reception taking place at one location, making it logistically as easy as possible for guests that had travelled from so far to be there.
Coming from opposite sides of the world, resulted in many guests travelling all the way from the UK to join the happy couple in witnessing and celebrating their marriage.
