I adored being the Celebrant for Jennifer and Hung’s stunning Victoria Park wedding. They created a truly spectacular day but what really made the day special was the couples undeniable love for each other, their super fun bridal party and their guests who joined them in filling the room with love and laughter.
The ceremony began with these cute little page boys making their way down the aisle bearing a cheeky sign and smiles, followed by beautiful bride Jennifer, walked down the aisle by her sister, holding a stunning bouquet with memory charms of her parents.
To ensure everyone really enjoyed the ceremony and to ease the nerves, the couple opted for a fun and happy ceremony, were I shared some of their cheeky stories, we got the guests involved and had them all laughing, and they included an element of humour within their wedding vows.
This super loved up couple first met each other 17 years prior through good old msn messenger.
Fast forward to 2016 when they reconnected, their friendship grew into something Jennifer did not anticipate. She became fonder and fonder of Hung every day.
Not only did he impress her with his fancy tradie skills, he showed her his patience, his kindness, his love and his push ups!
Of course, Jennifer could not resist and soon found herself falling in love with him.
As a Celebrant, I love it when the guests really engage in the ceremony, with smiles, laughter, applause and even wiping away the happy tears. We believe wedding ceremonies should be really enjoyable for everyone, and likewise our couples love seeing their guests enjoying the ceremony we’ve thoughtfully planned and designed together.
As I introduced the happy couple as husband and wife, their excited guests eagerly cheered and showered them with rose petals as they made their way back down the aisle together, glowing with happiness.
