These two grooms eloped and no hail storm mid-ceremony was going to rain on their day or wipe the glowing smiles from their happy faces.
Having recently moved to Brisbane from interstate, these two grooms decided on a small an intimate elopement in the presence of a few family members at a private property.
Shortly after every one arrived we noticed the storm and hail warning alerts pop up on our phones. Ever the optimisms we all discussed how rare and isolated hail actually is, and how the chance of actually getting hail is so minimal.
None of us would have expected a minute or two in to the ceremony starting, that there would be hail bouncing off the roof above us!
The grooms were thankful that they had opted for a super minimal ‘legals only‘ style ceremony, which is super short and snappy.

In line with keeping the ceremony as short, simple and relaxed as possible the two grooms opted to say the simple required vows to each other, before exchanging identical rings they had custom made with purple diamonds in them.
With the hail pelting the roof above us, the happy couple were pronounced as married and were super excited to seal the deal with a kiss and a cheer!
The happy couple headed out to a nearby park where rows of jacaranda trees were in full bloom, for some location photos before joining their guests for an intimate relaxed dinner as the storm passed by.
With the rain and hail not dampening their day in the slightest, their future is looking so very bright! They also showcased that you can still get great wedding photos when it’s raining! What legends these two are!
